Such lovely staff atmosphere food great will come again

Meal was fantasic

We certainly enjoyed our stay in the Brandon House Hotel. This is evident in the fact that we have returned to the hotel for vacation on a number of occasions. We first visited the hotel when our children were small. We had an excellent family break in a hotel which was “child friendly” offering good decent accommodation, with swimming pool and all the facilities. Our experience was so good that it remained in our mind as a hotel that stands out from the rest. We returned to celebrate my 50th birthday, and once again in Sep 2000. This time just my wife and I. Once again we found the standard of the hotel to live up to its expectations……which were high. We returned again in May 2012 and found it remained the hotel we knew, with part of the bar area updated to accommodate for a changing market and entertainment added at night. The restaurant was so good…………the quality of the food was top class. This time I had the rack of lamb for main course. The lamb was cooked to perfection, of high quality and was beautiful and tender. My wife went for the sea trout, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The starters and the home made sweets were of high quality. Even the breakfast in the morning which at this stage are fairly standard self service run of the mill. But this was not the case in the Brandon House. Everything was laid on…continental breakfast. The food was of high quality – the bacon and the mushrooms were as tasty as ever I have eaten. Keep up the good work Brandon House!!!

Enjoyed my stay at the Brandon Hotel. I noticed in the restuarant where art pictures from famous Irish painters are on display, one of the artists is a neighbour of mine ( Brian Bourke) which I will mention to him the next time I see him. Only disappointment was that the Wifi was not working in reception dispite attempts to get it working.Nice bar and reception area.
