The hotel itself is excellent in most ways. The leisure centre could be improved a good deal. The first day we arrived last Sunday we arrived at the leisure centre at about 5pm. We were informed that there was only 1 towel left & it would be 1/2 hour before another 1 would be ready. Not a good first impression. Also for the 4 day`s we were there no wet bags were on the roller in the men`s or women`s changing room for wet swimwear. In the solas spa we were not shown where the relaxation room was after a spa treatment. But overall this did not spoil what was a very enjoyable stay.

The staff throughout the hotel were so friendly and helpful, they are a breath of fresh air. We were acknowledged with a smile and friendly words every time we passed reception. Everyone in the bar, breakfast room and restraunt went above and beyond to be so helpful and efficient. And in the spa they were very nice and helpful. Overall we did not meet 1 person who wasn't efficient while still being so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I hope you can pass on my thanks to everyone. I come from a retail background and understand that working with the public isn't always easy, but because of the fantastic service provided by all who work there we've been recommending the brandon house hotel to everyone we know! Thank you.

We had a very enjoyable stay thank you. We stayed in room 307... Can I suggest that the rubber bath mat be changed as it's yellowing and doesn't look well! The top disc off the hot tap is also missing. Small things I know but all add to the impression. We got an upgraded room as part of an upgrade package. Little extras like bathrobes were only put in our room for the second night after I mentioned it at reception. I'm only pointing these things out because you need to know. Stay was overall excellent and spa was amazing. All good value for money. Thank you.

It might seem strange to rate all five stars but I had nothing to complain about. I enjoyed the calm atmosphere, loved the food and friendliness of staff. The hotel made my first visit to new ross an extra special one. Look forward to come there again, hopefully next month.
